Elevation: 0 ft
Description
Iconic Wimberley low-water crossing on Cypress Creek — rope swings and emerald pools above the Blanco River confluence.
Historical Notes
The 7A Crossing (Seven Hundred A) on Cypress Creek is a storied Wimberley swim spot where locals have swung from trees into green water for generations. TPWD Magazine names it among the holes that narrowly missed its statewide top ten. The crossing is informal public access along a rural Hays County road. Parking is limited; respect residents and never block ranch gates. Cypress Creek flows toward the Blanco River; water depth varies sharply with drought and flood cycles.
