Historical Notes
Nichols Landing provides public access to the Guadalupe River along the Canyon Lake–Sattler reach. Paddlers and tubers use the landing as a put-in for floats past the Horseshoe bend. Gravel bars and limestone ledges along the banks offer wading when flows are moderate. Check GBRA river conditions before visiting. Coordinates mark Nichols Landing on the Guadalupe River.
