Historical Notes
at 2820 CR-414, at Burnet County (E side) & Travis County (W side) shared county boundary line, with more than half the park on the Travis side. Public lake park managed by LCRA. Swimming, paddling, hiking, biking, fishing, wildflower viewing. Informal swim access along Lake Travis shoreline. No lifeguards. 10 mi of multi-use trails, shaded picnic areas, and seasonal bluebonnet fields. Tent camping, RV sites, restrooms, showers, potable water, and electric mountain bike rentals. Entry fee: $5 ad Listed in Cofran's Texas Hill Country Portal — Swimming Holes. Water depth and access vary with drought and flood conditions; most sites have no lifeguards.
