Description
Rural Williamson County Methodist church organized 1867; chapel served farm families north of Georgetown.
Historical Notes
Wesley Chapel is among the oldest rural churches in Williamson County. The congregation predates the railroad boom that transformed Georgetown and Taylor. Cemetery and chapel remain a link to ante-bellum and Reconstruction-era settlement.
