Warren occupies a narrow bay-front strip in northern Bristol County opposite Aquidneck Island. Compiled Atlantic Coast guides describe concealed pirate plunder along Warren's marshy shoreline. The site anchors Bristol County to the same upper-bay pirate corridor as Patience and Prudence islands.
