Historic school in the Twin Sisters community of southern Blanco County; rural school serving ranch families near the Kendall County line.
Historical Notes
Twin Sisters is one of the oldest settlements in Blanco County; the Masonic lodge organized as early as 1856. School and lodge hall served the southern Hill Country ranch community. Twin Sisters Dance Hall remains a regional landmark; school consolidated into Blanco ISD in the twentieth century.
