Stone Arabia in the Mohawk Valley was raided repeatedly during the Revolutionary War and its aftermath. Compiled guides place outlaw plunder at Klock's Field near the historic Palatine settlement. The site joins church-treasure legends near Auriesville and Switzer Hill hoards in Montgomery County folklore.
