Downtown Austin Episcopal parish; congregation organized 1853, current limestone church completed 1860.
Historical Notes
St. David's is the oldest Episcopal congregation in Austin and one of the oldest churches in continuous use downtown. The Gothic Revival building survived Reconstruction-era turmoil and twentieth-century urban renewal. National Register contributing property in the Congress Avenue Historic District.
