The Rocker Box San Saba County page describes a cave with walls lined with silver near the mouth of the San Saba River. The San Saba flows southeast from Menard and San Saba County before joining the Colorado River in the Hill Country. Silver-lined cave tales appear throughout Central Texas mine folklore. The river mouth country lies downstream from the Presidio San Sabá historic corridor. Coordinates approximate the San Saba River mouth near its confluence with the Colorado in San Saba County.
