Pontotoc public school in the former San Fernando Academy building, 1889–1927; longest post-academy use of the northeastern Mason County campus.
Historical Notes
After San Fernando Academy closed in 1890, Pontotoc voters purchased the building for public education. The school operated until 1927 as the town's population stabilized near 200 residents.
