Reported By: Greg Birkenfeld At the south end of the Pine Forest Mountain range there is a small creek that I do not know the name of that is on Frenchy Montero's Ranch behind his house. This stream has produced placer gold in the past. There are also two lode mines in the Pine Forest Range: The Ashdown; The Homer Vern. There is a production amount for the Ashdown mine.
