Description
Limestone courthouse designed by Frederick and Oscar Ruffini (1875); later served as school and community building after county seat moved to Johnson City in 1891.
Historical Notes
Oscar and Frederick Ruffini designed the 1875 courthouse. After Johnson City won the county seat election, the building housed a school, hospital, and community uses. Now Blanco visitor center and museum; Recorded Texas Historic Landmark on the town square.
