Description
Bell Mine - produced lode gold. Brown Mine - on the northwest edge of the District on the road from Moffitt's to Richardson's Mill, produced lode gold. Burns Mine - .5 miles south of the Cagle Mine. Cagle Mine - 3 miles southeast of Brown Mine and near the east edge of belt on the east side of Cabin Creek. Clegg Mine - .25 miles west of the Cagle Mine on the west side of Cabin Creek. The gold worked by open cuts can be picked and shoveled out. Grampusville Mine - 3 miles southwest of the Bell.
