Northwest of Mazama 3 miles in the SE 1/4 section 14 T36N R19E, is the Mazama Queen Mine. It had a 5 stamp mill on site. In T36N R20E, half mile north of Mazama, in the N 1/2 of section 30, is the Mazama Pride Mine. One Mile northeast of town, on cliff in SE 1/4 section 30, is the American Flag Mine.
