Description
County fairgrounds and rodeo park southeast of Mason on the San Antonio highway corridor; established 1938 by the Mason County Fair Association.
Historical Notes
The Mason Business Men's Club organized in 1907; it became the Mason Chamber of Commerce in 1925. The Mason County Fair Association manages the fair park, established in 1938 southeast of town on the highway toward Fredericksburg. The annual Mason County Fair and Rodeo draws visitors from across the Hill Country and remains a centerpiece of ranching and agricultural community life.
