Historical Notes
The Rocker Box lists a treasure supposedly buried on Limerick Plantation in Ouachita Parish. Find a Grave records Tennille Cemetery — also known as Limerick Plantation — on Desiard Road at 32.52595° N, 92.06527° W. Ouachita Parish History notes Limerick Plantation once stood at the Sherrouse House site behind Tennille Cemetery; the Tennille ancestral home was demolished in 2026 after generations of family occupation since the Civil War era. TreasureNet's West Monroe contributor identified Limerick Plantation gold as one of four major Monroe-area cache stories. Coordinates mark the Tennille Cemetery / Limerick Plantation historic grounds east of Monroe. Respect private property and cemetery regulations.
