Description
East of Keller, to the Columbia River, via dirt road, near the mouth of Ninemile Creek, probably in section 16 T29N R25E, is the location of the Ninemile Placer. The terrace deposits 30 and 100 feet above the river produced well. The paystreak in each lever 1-3 feet thick produced flake gold. The Chinese Miners worked this in the early days.
