Description
West of Jay Elm and .5 miles west of the highest peak in the Rawhide Buttes at corner of sections 2, 3 10 and 11 T30N R64W, is the Copper Belt Mine Company Mine. This was primarily a copper mine, but produced a by product of gold. You will also find the Omaha Mine and the Gold Hill Mine in the same area. The Emma claims had some gold showings.
