Holy Terror Mine Keystone Hoard

Lost Treasure SD • Pennington County County
Description
Keystone legend that the Holy Terror Mine still holds an unfound treasure somewhere in the old workings — one of the Black Hills' best-known lost-mine names on the quartz-filled slopes near Mount Rushmore country.
Historical Notes
Pennington County treasure compilations single out the Holy Terror as a mine where bullion or specimen gold may remain sealed in collapsed tunnels. Keystone rose as a quartz-mining camp after the 1876 rush, with the Holy Terror among its dramatic mine names. Coordinates center on Keystone as the anchor for Holy Terror lost-ore folklore.
Status / Verification legend — Legendary or approximate
