Harmon Hill British Silver Kegs

Lost Treasure VT • Bennington County County
Description
Bennington County legend of several kegs of British silver cached on Harmon Hill overlooking the southwestern Vermont valley — a companion tale to the Bennington gold hoard.
Historical Notes
Harmon Hill rises west of Bennington with views over the Walloomsac and Hoosic valleys. Regional folklore says British forces or loyalists concealed multiple kegs of silver on the hilltop. Metal-detector clubs still search Harmon Hill alongside the larger Bennington British gold tradition.
