Finns Point Buried Treasure

Lost Treasure NJ • Salem County County
Description
Salem County legend of a large treasure buried at Finns Point on the Delaware River — a southwestern New Jersey hoard near the Fort Mott historic area.
Historical Notes
Finns Point sits at the confluence of the Delaware River and bay marshes opposite Delaware's Pea Patch Island. Compiled guides place a large buried treasure at Finns Point without naming the original depositors. The site joins Money Island Kidd lore and Woodstown tavern gold caches in Salem County folklore.
