Description
Historic railroad and mining supply town on the San Pedro River. Served the Tombstone and Fairbank mining districts.
Historical Notes
Established 1880s. Important stage and rail stop. Several adobe and frame buildings survive, including the schoolhouse (now a museum/visitor center run by the BLM). Quiet and atmospheric.
