Description
City of Austin lakeside park on Lake Austin at Turkey Creek, developed from city-owned ranch land acquired in the 1930s–1940s.
Historical Notes
Named for Emma Long, first woman elected to the Austin City Council (1948). The park occupies a peninsula on Lake Austin with campsites, boat ramps, and Turkey Creek trails. One of Austin's largest municipal parks; Hill Country shoreline recreation west of the city core.
