Bend , at 2236 Park Hill Dr, San Saba County. 5,300-ac state park with 2 mi of Colorado River frontage and spring-fed swimming holes at Spicewood Springs. Features include primitive campsites, composting toilets, rinse-off showers, hiking and biking trails, cave tours, and wildlife viewing. Swimming allowed at designated areas—no lifeguards. Gorman Falls is a scenic highlight for viewing only, closed to swimming. Hike-in access; wear sturdy shoes. Typical access: May–Sep. Entry: $5 per adult (13 Listed in Cofran's Texas Hill Country Portal — Swimming Holes. Water depth and access vary with drought and flood conditions; most sites have no lifeguards.
