Christoval Creek Outlaw Cache

Lost Treasure TX • Tom Green County County
Description
Christoval south of San Angelo — Hill Country fringe folklore of Comanche-era and post-war outlaw loot cached in the South Concho canyon country.
Historical Notes
Christoval developed as a ranching community in the South Concho valley south of San Angelo. The area sits where the Edwards Plateau breaks toward the Rio Grande plains — a historic corridor for Comanche raiders and cattle drives. West Texas treasure guides include Christoval and the South Concho canyons among search areas for unrecovered robbery loot and Mexican-trade silver. No specific authenticated find is documented. Coordinates approximate Christoval. Much of the South Concho canyon land is private ranch property.
Status / Verification legend — Legendary or approximate
