U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park on Lake Georgetown (North Fork San Gabriel); developed after dam completion in the 1970s on a historic river valley.
Historical Notes
Lake Georgetown filled after 1979; Cedar Breaks Park provides campgrounds and shoreline access on Corps-managed land. The North Fork San Gabriel valley was farm and ranch country before impoundment; park preserves public lake recreation in central Williamson County.
