Description
Outlaw cache legend near Canyon Station on the old Mohave–Prescott stage road in northwest Arizona, between Kingman and the Colorado River crossings.
Historical Notes
Canyon Station was a stage stop on the rugged Mohave County route near Kingman. Legends of America documents buried outlaw loot near the station from holdups along the Colorado River plateau routes. The area saw heavy mining and stage traffic during the 1860s–80s. Coordinates approximate the Kingman / Cerbat Mountains stage-country.
