Blind Frog Ranch Keyhole Cavern Aztec Fortune — Uintah County

Lost Treasure UT • Uintah County County
Description
Blind Frog Ranch legend of a 500-year-old Aztec fortune in a keyhole-shaped cavern — the flooded underground system Duane and Chad Ollinger have excavated on their 160-acre Uintah Basin property since 2011.
Historical Notes
Discovery Channel's Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch documents father-and-son team Duane and Chad Ollinger searching seven underground caves on ranchland southeast of Ballard for cursed Aztec gold rumored beneath the Uintah Basin. Warner Bros. Discovery press releases describe a keyhole-shaped cavern as a possible link to the fortune, with LiDAR scans revealing fault lines connecting multiple ranch sites and an underwater cavern explored in later seasons. Basin Now notes the ranch sits about twenty miles from Skinwalker Ranch in northeastern Utah's "UFO Alley." Coordinates approximate the private Blind Frog Ranch property near Vernal. No unauthorized trespassing.
