Blind Frog Ranch Flooded Cave Aztec Gold — Uintah County

Lost Treasure UT • Uintah County County
Description
Blind Frog Ranch legend of Aztec gold in a flooded cave — the TreasureNet and KSL retelling of cursed bullion the Ollingers have pursued with divers, pumps, and cavern excavators without authenticated paydirt.
Historical Notes
TreasureNet's Blind Frog Ranch threads describe possible Aztec gold in a flooded cave on the Discovery Channel series. KSL's Utah treasure roundup lists the ranch among the state's most famous contemporary legends alongside Montezuma and Rhoades lore. Local Vernal tradition claims Spanish or Aztec wealth in seven underground caves; the team has recovered bracelets, coins, strange metal, and a box of anomalous material without confirming Aztec bullion. Coordinates mark the cavern country on Duane Ollinger's ranch southeast of Ballard. Private property — legend only.
Status / Verification legend — Legendary or approximate
