The Rocker Box Angelina County list cites outlaw loot buried on or near Biloxi Creek. Angelina County developed around Lufkin as a railroad and timber center south of Nacogdoches on the old Nacogdoches–San Antonio trace. Reconstruction-era banditry and timber-camp payrolls fed Piney Woods cache folklore. Biloxi Creek drains toward the Neches basin in the southern part of the county. Coordinates approximate Biloxi Creek in Angelina County south of Lufkin.
